That set of pictures is depicting a tour we made, like a group of four, in the US during the summer of 2010. As we had come from Europe, we rent a plane from a tenant at La Guardia aiport and toured a broad United States' northeast

Some days in New York. First impressions of New York, tour of the city, and renting the plane at La Guardia
Some training aboard the Cessna Skyhawk in the vicinity of New York and then some leisure from the New World Trade Center
On Friday, July 9th, we left for Boston. Boston Logan Intl, as seen from the Boston skyline
As we moved to Albany on July 11th, we flew from Albany to Utica on the next day, via the Adirondack, that range in the northern New York state. We stopped at Lake Placid. That place once harboured Winter Olympics
On Tuesday, July 13th, we flew down to Buffalo, whence we visited the Niagara Falls
Next stop was at Cleveland, OH. That view was taken as we were leaving the city, on Thursday, July 15th in the morning, on our route to Chicago

We then took to St Louis, on Sunday, July 18th in the afternoon. Thunderstorms were a threat along the route
As we are leaving St Louis on our route to Indianapolis, we are crossing the Mississipi back!
Back to more forests and terrain, southwest of Indianapolis, IN, on Tuesday, July 20th as we are approaching the VFR circuit to the city's airport
As we are heading to Lexington, we cross the Ohio River and enter Kentucky!
On Saturday, July 24th, we are back to a northern route to remain on schedule! We flew along the Ohio River and we finally reached Wheeling, WV!
Crossing the Appalachians on our flight from Wheeling to Washington D.C. Some risks of thunderstorms too!
As we headed to our hotel in Washington, from R. Reagan Intl, we just passed aside the Pentagon!
