That set of pictures features a reiteration of our summer holidays tour in northeastern USA we had performed in 2010 aboard FS2002! Coming from Europe, at four of us, we rent again a plane from a tenant at La Guardia aiport and we toured!
Our European Airlines Boeing 747-400 docked at the D Terminal at New-York JFK!
We staid some days in New-York to rent a plane and tour a little!
And with a premium show, the fireworks to the Independence Day, as, further, it was the 240th anniversary of it!
Some leisure after we tried the Cessna, with South Manhattan and, left, the New World Trade Center!
First flight day to Boston on Wednesday, July 6th! Some sightseeing in the city, with Logan Intl in the background!
After moving to Albany, NY on July 8th, we flew Albany-Utica the next day through the Adirondack mountains, where we stopped at Lake Placid, that village which once harbored the Winter Olympics!
We flew then, on Sunday, July 10th, down to Buffalo whence we visited the Niagara Falls!
Next stop was at Cleveland, OH. The view was taken as we were leaving the city, flying to Chicago, on Tuesday, July 12th!
Chicago as seen from the Sears Tower!
Another view of Chicago, with a typical building!
We then took to St Louis, on Friday, July 15th in the afternoon as the landscape began transitionning away from the Great Plains!
As we came accross the Mississipi River on our arrival in St Louis, we are crossing the river back when leaving!
More forests and terrain as we were approaching Indianapolis on Sunday, July 17th!
As we were heading to Lexington, we crossed the Ohio River and entered Kentucky!
On Thursday, July 21st, we were back to a northern route to remain on schedule! We flew along the Ohio River and we finally reached Wheeling, WV!
We then crossed the Appalachians on our flight from Wheeling to Washington D.C., with a cloudy sky somewhat
As we headed to our hotel in Washington, from R. Reagan Intl, we just passed aside the Pentagon!
Touring the U.S. capital! The Washington Monument
The Jefferson Memorial, Washington D.C.
By July 26th, Philadelphia is our last stop before back to New York
The Cessna C172SP Skyhawk we flew that tour with!
Some more days in New York. The Empire State Building
