Here is a fifth -and last- series of pics we have taken in FS and which are showing that the FS2002 world is fine enough to render some famed locations, worlwide! Some more fine rendering from our pictures are just due to that we added some satisfiedware, FS2004-designed textures available on the Internet. They work fine for FS2002 too, albeit with some tweaking for some of those. Enjoy the tour!

Sun is rising over the ruins of Merowe, an old Nilotic civilization, in norther Sudan, along one of the bents of the Nile River, and which, between the 7th century B.C. and the 4th century A.D., mixed the Egyptian aesthetics with the more Nubian, African ones (ruins are not modelized in FS2002)

Mount Ararat, in Armenia, is the Sacred Mount to Armenians. South of the capital city of Yerevan, one thinks, on another hand, that it's on the slopes of Mount Ararat that Noah's Ark once landed following the Deluge

Fjords are a typical and much scenic scenery of Norway! Fjords were carved into the relief once the last, vast ice caps which covered Europe during the prehistoric times, eventually vanished. They are providing fine -but impressive- views, with their tall walls plunging straight down into the water!

In St. Petersburg, Russians are calling the 'White Nights', the nights of summer when the Sun takes long to finally set and is swift to be rising back, leaving you with some palor all during the night! St Petersburg was built under the reign of tsar Peter the Great as, under the communist regim of the USSR, it was called Leningrad, after Lenin, the founder of the Russian communist state

The Suez Canal was inaugurated in 1869 as the work of Ferdinand de Lesseps, a French engineer. That waterway allowed to cross from the Mediterranean Sea into the Red Sea, and beyond. The canal thus became a major asset of Britain, on its way to its possessions in India. After having been shut down under the Egyptian socialist Nasser, the canal has been reopened, albeit not allowing anymore the passage of the large oil-tankers from the Middle East, which are journeying down to the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa

Taiwan became the strongholding refuge of the Chinese, nationalist Kuomintang forces when they had been won over by the Maoist communists in 1949. A fine island, Taiwan since remained independent, albeit the claim to a sort of status like the current one of Hong Kong is strongly asserted over the island by mainland China. The Tibetan plateaus are constituting a formidable highland of relief, beyond the Himalayas and were home to the Buddhist civilization of Tibet. Tibet now has become, like other places in the possessions of China, to a strong move of sinization, at the detriment of the local culture

The Titicaca Lake is a vast lake, in altitude, which is located in the Andes mountains, at the border between Bolivia and Peru. It's not that far from La Paz, Bolivia, where you can try one of the airports in the world with the most of altitude, at a wopping 13,313 feet! Just land or, above all, try to takeoff from, at the El Alto Intl Airport (SLLP)!

Tower Bridge, in London, is a famed landmark of the city, just over the Thames, close to the London Tower. London is the capital city of the United Kingdom as the aviators in history knows that the city endured the Blitz in 1940, during WWII, when the Germans heavily bombed there during months! The London main airport at Heathrow (EGLL)!

The U.S. Fleet of the Pacific is seen here, offshore San Diego, heading for a mission in the Pacific Ocean! Like in each edition, FS is providing some landable carriers disseminated around the USA. You'll find that one southwest of Sand Diego, via North Island NAS (KNZY)!

The White House is the famed residence of the US presidents. It's part of the architectonic ensemble which is constitued, in Washington D.C., by the Congress, the Mall, and the Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln Memorials. Just land at Washington Dulles Intl (KIAD) or, when flying the 'Air Force One', at the Andrews AFB/NAF (KADW)!
